Lisa Aaron

 

Lisa Aaron brings to 180 Communications a wealth of Public Relations experience that directly benefits our media consulting clients. 

 

As a former Senior Executive of Public Information at the Attorney General’s office in Florida, Lisa managed contact between Attorney General Bob Butterworth and the press. She held meetings with the Capitol Press Corps, oversaw news releases and broadcast speeches, and organized news conferences and public appearances of Attorney General Butterworth. Lisa then became Chief Information Officer and Digital Information Director for the Attorney General’s office. 

 

Lisa also designed and implemented digital information systems to facilitate communications and information sharing within the Attorney General’s office, law enforcement entities and other agency clients. This included a program that assisted more than 100 Florida law enforcement agencies in establishing a presence on the web. Buttorworth’s successor, Attorney General Charlie Crist, asked Lisa to continue to serve as his Chief Information Officer until she became a principal officer at 180 Communications. 

 

Lisa has long cultivated an ongoing understanding of the inner workings of local, state and national media and the process of interacting with the press to ensure positive outcomes for her clients. Lisa’s firsthand knowledge of media relations, crisis management and exemplary management skills make her a top consultant.

 

Lisa is a graduate of Florida State University and holds a B.S. in Political Science and a Master’s of Public Administration with a concentration in Information Technology. She currently resides in Tallahassee with her daughter, Hanna. In her spare time she enjoys golf and fishing.
